Who is Parker to Tyson Fury?

Tyson Fury has shown support for his former teammate Joseph Parker, after the New Zealander was named Oleksandr Usyk's mandatory challenger. This week, the WBO ordered unified heavyweight champion Usyk to defend his titles against Parker, who claimed the interim WBO belt in February.

This time, he’s up against a pound-for-pound great in Oleksandr Usyk (19-0), a man of impeccable pedigree, who is fighting with the backing of an entire country under siege. For the second time, he’s retreated to Saudi Arabia to launch what he hopes to be his comeback performance, winning back his belts and continuing to cement his legacy. Following a string of fight cancellations Jake Paul will finally get his chance to step into the ring again as he faces one of the greatest UFC strikers of all time Anderson Silva. • Looking to continue his undefeated streak and add a national strap to his resume, Nikita Tszyu will face his toughest challenge yet when he takes on current Australian Super Welterweight champion Dylan Biggs.

Nikita Tszyu vs Dylan Biggs

While the first match-up between Beterbiev and Bivol was a memorable one, the shine was taken off the bout a tad, with a vocal number surprised by the judges’ cards, despite Beterbiev’s strong finish. It was a close fight, and although one judge scored it a draw, the other two ringside markers gave it to Beterbiev, one by 4 rounds, hence the majority decision win. In claiming victory, the Montreal resident became the first undisputed light-heavyweight champion since Roy Jones Jr. held all the belts in 2002.

The laid back assuredness of Joshua and his brand as Britain’s golden Olympian and heavyweight champion hits hard against his recent fallibility once he steps through the ropes.

Matchroom Boxing returns to New York City in style, as IBF super lightweight champion Richardson Hitchins attempts to make a first defence of his crown against Australia’s George Kambosos Jr. Nikita Tszyu makes his highly anticipated return to the ring where he takes on Macedonia’s Lulzim Ismaili at the ICC theatre.
